Thorpe Parish Council Meeting 16th June

Dear all

We have brought forward the Parish Council meeting in order to discuss various issues but in particular the congestion and anti social behaviour that we have experienced over the last 3 weeks.

We will hold the meeting outside but  as gatherings of more than 6 people are not allowed,  we are inviting comments, suggestions and questions by email to myself or dropped off at The Old Rectory post box.

One other matter is that Hall Lane and Ilam Road near to Thorpe Mill will be closed on 21st July to enable BT to replace poles.

=============================================================

Dear all
The Parish Council Meeting scheduled for 5th May has been postponed due to the Corona Virus Lockdown.

Attached are notes regarding issues that needed updating.

Please note that Thorpe Parish Councillors have unanimously agreed  to cordon off the benches and the car park adjacent to the former public toilets. A “Stay Safe, Stay Home” sign has been placed at the entrance to the village. This has been done to safeguard villagers as there are increasing numbers of visitors to the area.
